My Baby

Today Alyssa went to primary. The nursery-soon-to-be-sunbeam kids test run in singing time. I ditched Sunday School to watch. My big girl walked out of nursery, her tiny little arms folded carefully across her itty-bitty body. She stayed in line behind the other kids, swaying her hips just enough so her new Christmas dress would swish back and forth. I watched her walk in to the primary room and climb up on her chair. She watched the chorister and everyone else around her. She raised her hand and tried to sing Once There was a Snowman. Her little legs dangled from her chair, several inches from touching the floor.
They sang Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam. I cried. My baby is a big girl going into primary. Only three more Sundays of nursery. I think I'll cry some more.

I feel the same way about Taylor (except for the being little part). They grow up so fast don't they?

How sweet! They do grow up so fast, but it sounds like she is totally prepared for primary...so you've done good! :) P.S. What is "it" on your countdown? I thought it was Christmas to start with, but Christmas is a few more days away than that. LOL Just curious :)

Oh, Cass! She did soooo good in there! She did better than some of my almost-out-of-sunbeams! :O) She was a little angel! For real.

I recall this age with J-Man. Dood she is lucky tho...Memms has to wait an entire YEAR...stupid January birthdays. Blast them all.

I love the visual of her legs on the chair, she is gorgeous.
