My Little Problem Solver

Another fine "picture this" moment brought to you by Alyssa. The scene. Alyssa sitting comfortably on my bed, eating some scrambled eggs with "dip" on them. "Dip" being ketchup. I'm buzzing about the house trying to get it picked up before Flavio calls to tell me someone wants to drop in and look at the house, which happens every time my house is a mess. :) I love this house selling game. I peek in my room to make sure little Lyssa-Bug is eating her breakfast. She is. Upon exiting the room, I notice a used looking diaper sitting next to the bed. Hmm... where did THAT come from? After further investigation I notice that Alyssa is no longer wearing a diaper. Hmm... The dialog. Me: Alyssa, did you take off your diaper? Alyssa: Ya Me: Why? Alyssa: Yook at it. Me: Did you take it off because it was wet? Alyssa: YOOK at it mom! (Clearly I didn't see what she was pointing at, and at this point I'm a little nervous as to what I might see if I turn it over) I turn it over to find ketchup on the front. Me: Oh! Did you drop your eggs on your diaper? Alyssa: Ya. Me: Ok, well next time you need your diaper off have mommy help ok? Alyssa: K. (But giving me the LOOK that says "Why? Obviously I can take care of this myself.") Oh Alyssa. I just LOVE you.
