... yesterday, it happened.
I've not been looking forward to this day. In fact I've been quite pleased that we've gone 2 1/2 years WITHOUT this happening. Let's face it. My world, as I know it, will never be the same. No more hiding things. No more hiding me. No more hiding her. No more out of sight, out of mind. It's all over.
All because not only can Alyssa finally reach the door knob, but she can turn it. Which means she can open doors. Her door. The bathroom door. The scrapbook room door. The basement door. All of them.
I'm toast.

Yep, you're in trouble... although, have you seen those things you can put over the door knob? they're pretty hard to use for little hands. Maybe that could help?!? Good luck!
You would love the things for the door knobs....I still put them on my doors and Noah STILL cannot open them! I would definately recommend these...they will help keep you sane.
Cassie, you are hillarious! Good luck!! :)
she can actually REACh the knobs??? You are in trouble! It looks like it is time to get child locks on all your doors!! :) good luck!!
Oh, I can't tell you how sorry I am! I am dreading that day. Dreading, I tell you!
That's hilareous, 2 1/2 years and NOW you have to worry. Cute tiny Lyssa!
So have you tried the door knob covers yet? Well, it is worth a shot, but just know that Rylee figured those buggers out within a few weeks!!! Maybe you will have better luck than I did!
OH my...I have to see this to believe it.
Seriously, I was just going to say, you are dang lucky you've made it 2 1/2 years and are just now having to deal with this!! =)
Fun to find your blog old friends. Can't wait to hang out. Where is Tim's surgery friday? I enjoyed talking to him today. Alyssa is so beautiful, I've loved looking at your blog!
