You may ask yourself "Why is she posting about a bottle of syrup?" Well, let me just tell the significance this bottle of syrup has had on my life. Life, as I know it, will never be the same. At least not the picture taking aspect of my life. And all thanks to this bottle of syrup (and my fab photog teacher, of course).
I have wanted to be able to take a picture with a blurry background FOREVER. And LOOK! I DID IT!!! ON THE LITTLE BOTTLE OF SYRUP!!!! Isn't it great!?!?! Now, to the more technically trained photographer, you may be thinking "oh honey, you have so far to go." But I'm sayin' "Look at those crisp, in focus lines on that bottle and the fuzzy stuff in the back! WAHOO!!! I did it!" I admit, I threw out all the other picture taking guidelines out the window because I was simply focusing on the fuzzy background/in focus object. But seriously, I'm proud of my little accomplishment! Stay tuned for more to come....

Two photo classes and you are becoming a pro! Fabulous job. That is exciting. I know you have been wondering about that and just keep blaming the camera. hehehe Your teacher must be amazing to teach you such a trick. Indeed, you should be proud. The best part is that every time you come across this you will love it for the exact reason you do right now.

MAD SKILLLLLLLZZZZ! OH my goodness, those are better than I ever imagined. You have impressed me. Thank you for posting, I am actually sitting here in tears knowing that I helped teach you that. There were no better words tonight then when I heard Tammy exclaim, "I DID IT!!!" "Look at that kind of blurry background!" Awesome, amazing, so much better on the computer huh? Thanks for coming Cassie, hopefully it all made sense, sorry I was a little all over the place, but it looks like you held your own...yay zoom, yay 2.8, yay, yay, yay!
Oh, thanks Kim! I am absolutely LOVING this! Thank you so much for teaching me, I really appreciate it.
Cassie, you crack me up! I wish that I could have been there! I have been playing with my settings a bit and think that I am slowly figuring things out.
Glad you enjoyed your night!
